What a resort! I was lucky enough to spend a few days at the Barcelo Maya Palace in the Riviera Maya. It will take you about 90 minutes or so to get to the resort  from Cancun Airport and it is well worth the journey. This hotel is something special. The rooms are beautifully decorated and feature an extensive array of luxury amenities.
